Who we are
Lyme Revive Foundation is a 501(c) nonprofit organization operating the website lymerevive.org. Our mission is public education on Lyme disease. We can be reached at contact@lymerevive.org.
What information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to provide. This includes your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us via email. We do not operate user accounts, login systems, or collect payment information directly. If and when donation processing is added, it will be handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe) under their own privacy policy. We do not collect sensitive health information from visitors.
How we use information
Email addresses collected for newsletter subscriptions are used only to send the Foundation's newsletter. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Email addresses provided through general contact are used only to respond to your inquiry.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns in aggregate. We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral advertising cookies, or third-party advertising networks. If we change this, we will update this policy.
Third-party links
This site links to the Lyme Revive PMA (lymerevivepma.com), which is a separate entity with its own privacy policy. Novel Insights LLC is an affiliated organization -- the founders of Lyme Revive Foundation have an ownership interest in it. Novel Insights has its own privacy policy governing any data collected through its services. We encourage you to review it before providing personal information to Novel Insights.
Data retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact inquiries are retained for a reasonable period for correspondence purposes and then deleted. We do not retain data longer than necessary.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at contact@lymerevive.org. We will respond to reasonable requests within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. We will update the effective date when we do. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
